VIRTUAL BIRTHDAY PARTY
This is a HIGHLY INTERACTIVE art party experience! We will have lots of fun creating artwork for that Special Birthday person and their guests.
CHOOSE A PROJECT to go with your birthday theme. Further down this page are some suggested projects, however, you can choose other art subjects found throughout my website. Or SPECIAL REQUEST a personalized art project.

PRIOR TO PARTY
I will need to get information from the customer beforehand in order to prepare for the Birthday Party. Most of the information will be exchanged at the time of the booking & payment. However, here are some time sensitive items that you may not have at time of the booking that are needed well before the party date.
- Email addresses of all the participants so I can send them the access link to join the party.
- Make sure that all participants have obtained the supplies needed for creating the artwork. See my supplies page for online purchase links.
- (Optional) provide a digital picture (jpg, png) of the Birthday person.
JOIN THE PARTY
Participants should start logging in about 10 mins before the scheduled start time. This allows time for you to resolve any technical issues with your device's connection. If you are using a battery-powered device (laptop, Ipad, etc) be sure it is fully charged or connected to the power supply.
START OF PARTY
You will start the Party with the Birthday Person greeting all their guests and welcoming them to their Party.
Next, we will review the supplies needed for the birthday art project and will ask each participant their name.
I encourage participants to have full audio/video capabilities with their electronics. I love interaction and participation! Especially when we learn from each other about art! We have to be orderly about it though, so generally, I ask that we are muted during the art instruction portion of the party. If you have questions during the party just wave or use the chatbox and I will unmute.
I will then begin the step-by-step process of drawing out our character in easy-to-follow instructions. Each step will be broken down to the simplest form by using common shapes like circles and lines. Once we build our character out, we will add details, texture, shading, and form to our drawing. If it is a painting we will add these using paints.
My teaching style is very patient and fun! We love to laugh and enjoy being creative together.
END OF PARTY
At the end of the art project, each participant is given the opportunity to show their work on the screen and tell their friends about their work! This is a big confidence booster!
We will then sing "Happy Birthday". If a Birthday cake is available with the Birthday Person, candles can be lit, make-a-wish, and blown out during this time.
Birthday person then can tell their guests "Thank You" and "Goodbyes".

- Paint tray for watercolor (Use the lid to the watercolor paints)
- Paint - Watercolor paints - Crayola or Craft store brand (I will be using Winsor & Newton)
